Travelling from the North, via the A19

  • Approach Teesside on the A19 , and pass the Hartlepool, Billingham and Norton turn offs
  • Go past the Portrack interchange and take the fly-over across the River Tees
  • Take the A66 Darlington slip road (NOT 'Middlesbrough')
  • Pass the turn off to the Teesside Park shopping and Cinema complex
  • Take the next turn off, the A1130 sign-posted "Stockton"
  • At the traffic lights at the top of the slip road, turn right and stay in the right hand lane
  • Approach the mini-roundabout (within 50 yards of the traffic lights) and go straight over
  • Turn first left (at the Audi garage) into Stephenson Street and continue for two hundred yards until you see VOLMECH on the right hand side

Travelling from the South, via the A19

  • Approach Teesside on the A19, staying on the A19 until the A66 Darlington turn off
  • Take the A66 Darlington turn off
  • Pass the turn off to the Teesside Park shopping and Cinema complex
  • Take the next turn off, the A1130 sign-posted "Stockton"
  • At the traffic lights at the top of the slip road, turn right and stay in the right hand lane
  • Approach the mini-roundabout (within 50 yards of the traffic lights) and go straight over
  • Turn first left (at the Audi garage) into Stephenson Street and continue for two hundred yards until you see VOLMECH on the right hand side

Travelling from the Middlesbrough direction

  • Travel on the A66 as though you are going to the Teesside Park shopping and Cinema complex
  • Pass the turn off to the Teesside Park complex
  • Take the next turn off, the A1130 sign-posted "Stockton"
  • At the traffic lights at the top of the slip road, turn right and stay in the right hand lane
  • Approach the mini-roundabout (within 50 yards of the traffic lights) and go straight over
  • Turn first left (at the Audi garage) into Stephenson Street and continue for two hundred yards until you see VOLMECH on the right hand side

Travelling from Stockton

  • Take the Victoria bridge road over the River Tees to Thornaby
  • Go past Thornaby Town Hall. Turn first left on to Robert Street
  • VOLMECH is right in front of you, only 100 yards

Travelling from Darlington

  • Travel on the A66 towards Teesside
  • Directly after crossing the River Tees, turn off at the Stockton/Thornaby exit
  • At the slip road mini roundabout, turn left
  • At the first set of traffic lights (only 50 metres from roundabout) go straight ahead towards Thornaby Town Hall
  • Turn right on to Mandale Road
  • Turn first left on to Robert Street
  • VOLMECH is right in front of you, only 100 yards
